Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Civil 3D Engineer with experience in infrastructure and landscape projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing Civil 3D models, grading designs, utility networks, road corridors, and landscape layouts while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate BIM models and construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Civil 3D models for infrastructure, land development, and landscape projects.
- Create surface models, alignments, profiles, corridors, and grading designs.
- Design roadways, parking areas, site development works, and earthworks.
- Model wet and dry utility networks including stormwater, sewer, water supply, irrigation, telecom, and electrical utilities.
- Prepare plan, profile, cross-sections, and construction drawings.
- Perform cut-and-fill calculations, quantity take-offs, and terrain analysis.
- Develop landscape grading plans, hardscape layouts, and site infrastructure models.
- Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines for clash-free project delivery.
- Conduct clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, client requirements, and industry codes.
- Support BIM coordination meetings and resolve design coordination issues.
- Maintain model accuracy throughout design and construction phases.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Experience with grading, corridors, alignments, profiles, and pipe networks.
- Knowledge of roads, highways, utilities, land development, and landscape design.
- Understanding of drainage, stormwater management, and earthwork calculations.
- Experience with BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Ability to produce detailed engineering drawings and documentation.
- Familiarity with Data Shortcuts, Surface Modeling, and Quantity Analysis.
- Knowledge of Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, and InfraWorks is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Autodesk Civil 3D Certification (preferred).
Experience working on international projects (USA, UK, Middle East, Australia) is an advantage.
